Get a deep look into what it takes to be one of Brilliantcrypto’s ambassadors!

It has been almost two years since the Brilliantcrypto project began and 4 months since the game launch, and from the very start our community became truly international. Players from Asia, Latin America and Europe have gathered to mine digital gemstones in the game, and as BRIL becomes available for more countries around the globe the community keeps growing.

Building and running such a huge community would have been impossible without our dedicated supporters and ambassadors. Some of them have been with us since the first stage of the project, helping us to run the first game tests.

Closed testing began in 2023 and we were very honored to have players from regions such as Southeast Asia, Latin America and Japan and more joining us from Web3 guilds and DAOs. We were even more honored when some of our alpha testers joined the Brilliantcrypto community as official ambassadors, assisting in the daily communication between players and developers.

Now as we begin to move to stage 2, we want to bring light to some of those that helped to bring together and run the Brilliantcrypto community at a global scale.

We interviewed some members of our ambassador team. We hope you enjoy reading what they have to say!

Just a few of our awesome ambassadors.

Please introduce yourself!

Cyril — @cyril1999: Hi! My name is Cyril, and I’m from China. I am fluent in Chinese, English, and French. I have been living in Paris, France, for seven years. I manage Chinese and French-speaking communities.

Killua — @killuaazooldyk: Hello, greetings to everyone! I’m known as Killua, I’m from Argentina, and I’m a native Spanish speaker with an intermediate level of English. I am located in the South American region and manage the Discord server, as a community ambassador for Spanish-speaking channels.

Dorian — @dorian7564: Hi! I’m Dorian and I’m from Taiwan and speak mandarin. I manage mandarin language channels as an ambassador.

What brought you into web3 games and what motivated you to join the BC project?

Cyril: I am interested in all things new, and gaming is one of my biggest strengths. I have nearly two years of experience in Web3 community management and operations.

I entered the crypto world around 2021–2022, when NFTs and ICOs were booming. I quickly learned the industry and built friendships and influence across various communities.

As for my motivation to join BC as an ambassador, honestly, in the Web3 industry, Japanese projects have always had a great reputation. Whether it’s NFTs or traditional alpha communities, they’re very well-regarded. BC, as a Web3 game backed by a long-established Japanese gaming company, is top-notch in terms of game background, content creation, and external promotion within the industry.

Joining this project allows me to learn a lot, and managing and operating such a large-scale community gives me even more valuable experience.

Also, I’ve been playing consistently from the early testing phase to the current official version, so I’m quite familiar with the game’s mechanics and strategies. But what excites me the most about the game is, of course, every time the detector alarm goes off — haha!

Killua: What led me to crypto gaming was that at the age of 16, I became very interested in investment topics and finding multiple income sources. This interest led me to discover and join the largest Spanish-speaking web3 community, OLA GG, it was primarily there that I was introduced to the world of web3, gaming, and cryptocurrencies, as well as to account moderation and management.

Since I joined OLA GG, I participated in all the activities they held, such as events, giveaways, AMAs, and more. Once, they invited people to join an alpha/beta testing of a project, and fortunately, I was selected. That was when I discovered Brilliantcrypto.

I truly enjoyed the game from the alpha/beta tests. The idea of mining on a mountain to find gems is really entertaining, and personally, I find it relaxing.

I think the most attractive part is that the game is easy to understand and play, and what really stands out is that it’s web3. Having these two aspects — a simple game and web3 — attracted many people to try this project out.

My experience in the game led me to want to become a moderator for Brilliantcrypto. I remember that, at that very moment, they were looking for ambassadors and moderators, so the opportunity I had been looking for presented itself and I didn’t hesitate to apply.

Dorian: Play to earn is common but mine to earn is a unique concept, especially if you’re playing as a miner to find gems. It’s a fresh experience when you hold a pickaxe, search and dig the mountains. That’s why I decided to help promote this project.

How was your experience as a community ambassador so far? What have you done previously and what would you like to do in the future?

Another relaxing day at the office.

Cyril: As an ambassador, I introduced Brilliantcrypto to many Chinese-speaking gaming communities and created threads and promotional content to introduce the game during its early stages. I’ve met many experienced ambassadors and connected with numerous players by sharing BC with some alpha communities. I also guide users on how to participate in the game and address game-related issues.

I am someone who enjoys sharing and promoting, and being an ambassador lets me gain a deeper understanding of the project and promote it to more players. My goal is to help more people discover and appreciate a good game.

Killua: I’ve done many activities, like moderating all the channels on the server, translating announcements, answering questions and guiding people about the project, proposing events, suggesting possible improvements for the server, and serving as support staff during Zealy campaigns.

I plan to keep performing all assigned tasks to the best of my ability and I’d also like to organize an event from scratch and manage it myself, though this might be a bit more challenging.

Dorian: Being a community manager, my main task is to help players solve their problems and keep the community positive and, if it’s possible, in the future I hope I can have some offline events.

As the Jewelry Workshop’s sneak peaks have been recently released, what are your expectations for this new game feature? Do you have any gemstones?

Have you seen the new sneak peak’s of Brilliantcrypto’s Jewelry Workshop?

Killua: This is one of the main things I’m looking forward to, and I think it would be fantastic to export the NFT gems into the metaverse world.

Currently, I have some gemstones, but I mostly use them to get tickets for the mountain and continue mining, so I can gather more gemstones and have a chance to get a really valuable gem.

Though I don’t have any high-value gemstone now, previously I managed to get a diamond with a unique history and name of gem quality. It was the best at the time, and I was able to sell it for 2000 MATIC.

Cyril: For now, I have about 6 to 7 gemstones, but they’re of average quality. I want to try some synthesis once the Gem Workshop becomes available.

Dorian: Right now I don’t have any because I’m not a good miner. I always lose direction in the cave when I look around. When Jewelry Workshop opens I’d love to check out others’ works.

Any message to the community/developers and feedback?

Dorian: I’m looking forward to the BC team to do more collaborations with other projects and making BRIL available in even more regions, increasing its value.

Cyril: I believe that we could make game economics better by increasing the functionality of gems. It could potentially be integrated with some Web2 applications, for example, such as redeeming them for merchandise, etc. Let’s keep moving, guys! WGMI

Killua: I believe the developers team has an incredible vision and the community is what makes Brilliantcrypto great, as without the community, it wouldn’t have been possible to achieve such big goals. A big shout-out to the entire community and the developers!
