The vision of Digital Gemstones was born almost two years ago.
A world in which diamonds, aquamarines, red spinels in the digital world hold real value. Two years ago, most people were calling us crazy, and they couldn’t be blamed for it.
Who would’ve guessed that in just 1 month after the project officially released, this vision would become reality?
It may sound cliche, but these things don’t come true if people don’t believe in them. And we are truly grateful to the amazing community of players, supporters and partners alike who have continued to believe in Brilliantcrypto.
In this article, we talk about what we’ve achieved together in the last month, and where we’re going next.
“Who will buy the gemstones when the game releases?”
The golden question we’ve been asked over and over again. There are lots of different answers, such as NFT investors, hardcore Brilliantcrypto fans, metaverse fashionistas, and more.
But the truth is, no matter how many times you say “trust me bro”, the conclusion is that people want solid proof when it comes to investing their money and time.
Today, over 10,000 gemstones have been traded inside Brilliantcrypto.
It’s safe to say there is no question about whether there are buyers for the gemstones any more, and the trader community is continuing to grow exponentially.
Remember, you can always check how many trades there have been on the in-game marketplace by navigating to the “Recent Trades” screen and looking at the total amount of items.
“Are they really going to be worth anything?”
This is probably what the man who paid 10,000 Bitcoin for 2 pizzas was thinking when he decided to hand them over. In other words, in the beginning, not everyone sees the value of digital items in the same way.
